Flower flavor: Amaryllis

Ahh… the amaryllis, or more risquely known as the “naked lady”.  They are gorgeous, bold and a popular choice among brides in the winter months.  They come in a variety of colors and look how lovely they are….

What a beautiful bouquet of white amaryllis and freesia.  So crisp and clean.  I instantly fell in love with the florals then noticed the lovely wrapped stem.  The broach is a touch that I find extremely charming.

Red streaked amaryllis… a bold beauty.

Misty and her maid of honor carried bright orange bouquets of amaryllis, ranunculus, orchids, and bittersweet berries.
Here is a softer arrangement of  amaryllis, ranunculus, orchids, and bittersweet berries.

Oohh.. red amaryllis and feathers.  Very chic.

I am in love with this one.  Amaryllis, cymbidiums and dusty miller make for one stunning bouquet.
This bouquet is a show stopper.  Mocca amaryllis, hypericum berries,  roses, scabiosa pods, berzelia and  pheasant feathers make a big statement.

Amaryllis… you are beautiful in a bouquet but just as stunning as a centerpiece.
