The many faces of BEER at a wedding

April 24, 2012

When the weather gets chilly and rainy – especially at the end of April – sometimes a gal just needs a little BEER to keep her warm! Which brings me to my next point: how fun would it be to put on a beer-inspired wedding…in only the classiest way, of course.

The beer-loving couple will for sure have plenty of delicious brews on tap, but why not spread the theme of brightly colored bottles, rustic breweries, and fresh outdoor beer gardens to all of your reception decor and details? From one beer-loving lady to another, here’s a delicious look at how some other creative brides and grooms have pulled this one off.

“Follow the label to your table” – have guests sit at tables labeled for different types of beer. Also love that they used corks for the actual place card holders. And the wheelbarrow full of bottled deliciousness?! Genius!

April shower shots

April 10, 2012

With rain in the forecast for the next week, I decided we could all use some wet weather inspiration to help us through these notorious April showers. Of course, I don’t know many brides that actually hope for a rainy wedding…but without the rain, there’d be no gorgeous wedding shots like these!

Why not a woodsy wedding

April 3, 2012

There’s nothing I love more than a beautiful outdoor wedding, but why should the beach get all the love?? I just ADORE the idea of a wedding in the woods!

I know, I know…you’re having flashbacks to your first (and last) camping experience when you were grimy and bug-bitten, and you think I’m crazy. But picture this: delicate paper lanterns hanging from a wooded backdrop provided (at no charge) by Mother Nature. The sun streams through the trees just right as you and your hubby exchange vows in front of your family and friends, who are comfortably seated on quaint benches hewn from oak trees…

Can you picture it? Stunning, right!?
