Hi there Libsters! Check out this sweet font that I found over at How About Orange. Wouldn’t this be perfect for vintage wedding invites, menus & placecards? It’s called Reklame Script by Hannes von Döhren and it’s based on 1940′s hand-lettering. You can get the free demo version here (the demo version doesn’t include punctuation) or purchase the regular version for $30.

Bottles on the Brain

I know posts are a rarity on Sundays but I want to show you what I’ve been working on.  It’s really something simple and was inspired by my most recent post… Bottled brilliance.

I took some empty wine bottles that I have been saving for who-knows-what and soaked the labels off.   I was pretty excited to finally get to use them for something.

Hadley helped.  She’s so crafty already :) .

I then took a razor blade and scraped the labels off.  They soaked for a good 2 days so it didn’t take much effort at all.

(Sorry for the lack of photo documentation.  It’s something I promise to get better with :) .)

Once my bottles were label free I cut some daffodils from my garden and placed them inside.

…. Voila ….
