Let me introduce you to Dottie…..

She’s a sweet Save the Date magnet that works well with a vertical photo.  Dottie is a 5×7 and comes in 4 soft shades of pink, blue, yellow and green. Isn’t that design fabulous?

Here is a pretty little board Dottie inspired.  I am loving this palette of blush pink, mint green and gold.  JUST GORGEOUS for a wedding!!!!!

What do you think?

Calling all peony lovers

May 25, 2011

Look at these adorable centerpieces featured on The Inspired Bride. Simple and elegant, and I looooove the peachiness contrasted with the navy and white color palette. I’ve also been really into gold lately – I think it adds the perfect touch of richness, particularly with pink and navy. This is some serious color inspiration that I might just have to replicate.

Gorgeous photography too, right? Courtesy of Paper Antler – love their work!

*UPDATE* - The Inspired Bride has informed me that those gorgeous blooms are not peonies, but David Austin garden roses (and now my second favorite flower), AND those chevrons are not navy, but black! Who knew? ;] Thanks for the info, IB!

Pretty, pretty, pretty. Can you see why peonies are my favoritest blooms in the world?

How awesome are those gold cups holding the flowers? Such a great idea!

Ahhh, I am soo in love with this spread. Top 5 favorite color combos.

Spring spread

March 30, 2011

Spring is springing and I am beyond ecstatic. Aside from summers at the beach (preferably Cape Cod or somewhere along the New England coast…), spring is my absolute favorite season. And seeing as bright, cheerful colors are in this spring, I thought that this gorgeous spread that I discovered over at Lane Dittoe featuring Erica O’Brien Cake Design was the perfect way to get everyone in the mood!

I love the brightly colored vases – adorable!

Ahh, bold but subtle floral beauties. Love ‘em. Oh and um, can I please have a glass of champagne with skewered raspberries too? Thanks.

Look at those gorgeous cakes! The definition of simple beauty. (Not to mention they look delicious…)

Something about these photos makes me think of vintage-y goodness.

This whole spread makes spring seem almost within reach – even if Mother Nature is dangling it in front of us like a carrot!

Color of the week – PINK

December 17, 2009

I was watching Cake Boss last night on TLC (love that show) and Buddy’s sister says in her Jersey accent “Who don’t love pink?”.  Honey, I totally agree…lol
